Living with Purpose
To understand the true meaning and message that Purpose carries in life, we must begin by looking within, to soulfully understand how we are to bring ourselves to life; where and how and when.
Too many teachings and ideologies from early life and the collective, have identified purpose as an achievement, a process, a position or a role. Something we must earn or invent, something we must hold onto, with a need to control.
Rather than the true intrinsic meaning, that we are here to remember and recognize; to refine ourselves through experience and knowing, to remember and realize intuitively where we have been and where we are going.
Our true purpose is how we recognize ourselves in the external world and reality; an inner orientation, a natural alignment, with that which is authentic and our true soul’s assignment.
Purpose is the soul’s intrinsic direction– remembered through living and refined through our expression. It culminates in our lives as the quality of presence, living in the now, we bring to life its very essence.
Purpose often feels hidden or lost when the mind becomes loud and egoic. It is in these moments that we lose our way and forget why and where it is we are going.
Purpose disappears and waits for the moment when the soul can once again be heard; the quiet moments when we listen from the inside out as the message is clearly conferred.
Our purpose changes shape as we live our lives. When we remember this, it is a journey of redeeming. We are not here to obtain or acquire a purpose, we are here to live purposefully with conscious intent and meaning.
What feels most alive, honest and necessary in your Being right now? This is a question that brings purpose to life; as it answers the where, the when and the how.
